Paul the missionary

After Jesus went to heaven, his disciples and followers told many people about the Good News of Jesus.
Today’s Bible passage is about a man named Paul who traveled to many places, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He went on different missionary journeys and wrote letters to other Christians and churches. We can still read about his life and the letters he wrote in the Bible!

Today, let’s find out about his very last journey.

Read the Bible
The book of Acts finishes with Paul’s journey to Rome and the people he met there. Even though he was under house arrest, Paul continued to tell everyone the amazing gospel news of Jesus. Let’s read the last few verses of Acts together.
Acts 28:28-30

In one of his letters, Paul writes: “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Discuss Together
Even though Paul faced many difficulties (being imprisoned, being shipwrecked, having the Jewish leaders disbelieve him), Paul always shared the good news about Jesus. Nothing stopped him from telling others about Jesus. How would YOU describe the good news of Jesus?
