What Does It Mean to Be A Christian?
After Jesus went to heaven, his disciples and followers told many people about the Good News of Jesus. Many people believed and were saved.
But then, there was some confusion – did Christians have to follow the Jewish laws as well? What about people who were not Jews – they are called Gentiles and they never had to follow the Jewish laws. Would they now need to live like a Jew? It was all very confusing to the early Christians. So, they gathered together in Jerusalem to discuss this problem.

We can ask ourselves a similar question – how should we behave as Christians?
Before Jesus went back to heaven, he gave his disciples this important instruction: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)
